In recent years, Nemechek, a machinist by trade, has continued to build and develop NEMCO Motorsports into a high-performance automotive shop. He has pursued endeavors in other racing series, including in the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), the Trans-Am Series, and in Vintage Stock Car Racing.
